At Glowélla, we want your checkout experience to be seamless, secure, and stress-free. Here's everything you need to know about how we handle payments.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

- Maestro

- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store or have access to your card details at any point.
Currency
All prices on Glowélla are displayed and charged in British Pounds (GBP £). If you are shopping from outside the UK, your bank or card provider may apply a currency conversion fee — this is entirely outside of our control and we recommend checking with your provider before ordering.
Payment Security
Your security is our priority. Every transaction on Glowélla is protected by:
- SSL encryption — all data between you and our store is fully encrypted
- PCI DSS compliance — we meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards
- 3D Secure authentication — your bank may request an additional verification step for extra protection
When Will I Be Charged?
Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order. Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email straight away. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be placed and you will not be charged. Common reasons for a declined payment include:
- Incorrect card details entered at checkout
- Insufficient funds in your account
- Your bank blocking the transaction for security reasons
- Your card not being enabled for online purchases
- Your billing address not matching your card records
Discount Codes & Promotions
Discount codes can be entered at checkout in the designated promo code field. Please note:
- Only one discount code can be applied per order
- Codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed
- Codes cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers unless stated
- Sale items may be excluded from promotional codes — this will be clearly stated in the promotion
Order Amendments & Cancellations
If you need to amend or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We process orders quickly, so we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been placed. If your order has already been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — however you can return it under our Returns Policy.
Fraud Prevention
To protect both our customers and our business, all orders are subject to standard fraud screening. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that we believe to be fraudulent or placed using unauthorised payment details. In such cases, we will contact you directly.
